What’s the story behind OnePulse?
The idea for OnePulse was cooked up in a pub in the wake of a shocking election result. Our founders mused about how useful it would be to text a few thousand people and ask them why they’d voted the way they did. With one of our founders being a tech-lover already, he decided to give the idea a try.
How does OnePulse work?
Well, it’s a love story of sorts… Your opinions are valuable & businesses want to hear them. We bring the two together for a match made in heaven.
Everyday you’ll receive sets of quick questions called Pulses; you can answer these on your OnePulse mobile app. You’ll always be sharing your opinion completely anonymously.
What is a Pulse?
A Pulse is a set of up to 3 questions that make you think. Some are paid & some are unpaid, and the more you complete the more you’ll be rewarded.
Who can use OnePulse?
You can. And your friends. And your neighbour. And your boss. And that person you passed on the street this morning that dropped their coffee. And the bus driver who takes you home everyday. And your childhood love that got away. At the end of the day, anyone & everyone can use OnePulse.
How long does it typically take to complete a Pulse?
Anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes (it depends if you’re checking out a video, reading a particularly good news article, or loving the Pulse topic). The idea is that Pulsing is quick, easy & can be done anywhere.
Can I see the results of the Pulses I complete?
Yes, you can -- most of the time. Some businesses will want to keep the results private but we encourage them to share with you as often as possible. Click on ‘Results’ at the end of each Pulse to see how your opinions compare at that moment, or visit the Activity Feed to see the final result.
How do I know if there are more Pulses to complete?
If you turn on notifications, the Pulses will come.
To make sure you never miss a Pulse:
Tap into your Profile tab on the bottom right hand corner of the app
Select ‘Account’
‘Notifications’
Tap ‘All’ to be alerted when both paid and unpaid Pulses come in OR ‘Paid’ to receive notifications for just paid Pulses
How do I delete a Pulse?
Easy! In your feed you simply swipe the Pulse to the right and tap the bin to bid it farewell.
How do I complete my OnePulse profile?
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right hand corner of the app, then hit ‘Profile Information’. Go wild. The closer you get to 100% completion, the more Pulses you’re eligible for.
Who gets to see my details? / Is the information I provide on OnePulse confidential?
It’s always up to you to decide which Channels you want to be a part of & which personal information you’d like to share. But the more details you give us, the more you get out of your experience. And don’t worry, you’ll always be completely anonymous!
How do I change my account details?
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right hand corner of the app, then hit ‘Account’. You’ll be able to update your email address, reset your password, set your notifications & add your PayPal account on this screen.
What devices support OnePulse?
iOS & Android devices (if you still have a BlackBerry...well, sorry).
Where is OnePulse available?
As of now, OnePulse is available in both the UK & US (but we’re growing quickly with our passports at the ready).
How do I get off the app?
You can’t. Once you’re in, you’re in for life. Kidding.
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right of the app, then hit ‘Account’. Select ‘Delete account’.
You can delete your OnePulse account at any time.
Follow these steps:

Yes. Get in touch with the OnePulse team on your Activity Feed & we’ll sort you out.
Do my PayPal and personal emails have to be the same?
They do not need to be the same, but we’d recommend it. If we ever need to find your account, it makes things easier!
How do I earn money on OnePulse?
By Pulsing, of course! You'll know which Pulses make you money when you see the '$' sign next to them in your feed.
What kind of rewards are offered for completing Pulses?
Cold. Hard. Cash. That’s what! No gimmicks, no faff, just cash.
Who pays for the paid Pulses?
The businesses that want to hear your opinions! They’re nice like that.
How do I withdraw my funds?
Make sure your PayPal email address is registered & verified through the PayPal website
Add your PayPal email address to your OnePulse account by going here: Profile -> Account -> PayPal account.
Pulse ‘til you drop & earn a minimum of $20
Tap into your Profile
Tap ‘Balance’
Tap the PayPal email address you’ll be withdrawing to
‘Confirm’ today’s estimated exchange rate to withdraw
You are able to withdraw a maximum of $20 every 30 days
Claim your funds from PayPal & enjoy the cash!
How long does it take to get my cash after I’ve withdrawn it?
Once you’ve withdrawn your funds they should be in your PayPal within 24 hours. If that isn’t the case, please get in touch with us in-app, via email or on Twitter/Facebook.
Can I only make money in USD($)?
On 26 November 2017 we went international, making USD($) our universal OnePulse currency. This means that all paid Pulses will pay in USD($). Once you withdraw the money to your PayPal account your earnings can be seen and cashed out in GBP(£).
Why did you change currency?
Bottom line - to get you more Pulses! We have international brands waiting to tap into the pool of knowledge that is the UK. Having USD($) as the standard currency makes that happen.
What will happen to my current earnings?
Don’t worry - they haven’t gone anywhere! Your earnings have been converted to USD($) using the average exchange rate for November 2017 and are worth just as much as before.
Can I still withdraw my earnings in GBP(£)?
You bet! As soon as you hit $20 you are free to cashout. Once the money reaches your PayPal account it can be seen and withdrawn in GBP(£) using that day’s exchange rate.
